The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at the University of Florida is excited to announce an opening for a full-time academic board certified or board eligible Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Orthopaedic Surgeon. This prestigious role offers the opportunity to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor on either a tenure–accruing or non-tenure accruing track. Title and salary will be commensurate with experience and academic qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care with a focus on joint replacement surgery.
- Teaching and mentoring the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons.
- Engage in quality research to advance the field.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree. Completion of an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency.
- A one-year or greater Adult Reconstructive Joint Fellowship.
- Successful completion of Part 1 of the Orthopaedic Surgery Boards Examination.
- Eligibility for an unrestricted Florida Medical License.
