ADULT RECONSTRUCTION FELLOWSHIP
NORTHWELL HEALTH ORTHOPEDICS
is recruiting for a one-year, non-ACGME Orthopedic Fellowship, 2025 Match for 2026 position.
Located on Long Island, NY, at two of Northwell Health’s flagship tertiary hospitals and top rank by US News & World Report:
LONG ISLAND JEWISH MEDICAL CENTER and NORTH SHORE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL, (inclusive of ambulatory surgery facilities and level one trauma center). This fellowship consists of a monthly block rotation with 3 core faculty members plus multiple adjunct faculty. The program will provide the fellow with clinical experience and didactic training in the surgical suite. Inclusive of the office practice setting, robotic-assisted surgery, and hands-on skills training in our Bioskills Education Center.
The primary focus is on Adult Reconstruction; with additional opportunity to work with complex trauma, pelvis, and oncology tumor reconstruction, as well as joint preservation and hip arthroscopy. Leading the way, and Truly Together – our fellowship includes extensive research opportunities, mentorship for our faculty members, residency, and medical student rotations. Formal didactic conferences are held to complement the clinical experience, while participation in annual conferences and monthly journal club meetings round out the schedule.
