Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced General Orthopedic Surgeon to diagnose, treat, and manage musculoskeletal conditions. The successful candidate should be comfortable with knee & shoulder arthroscopies, arthroplasties, total joint replacement simple hand, foot & ankle procedures. Should be open to working collaboratively with our medical team to deliver the highest standard of care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to diagnose orthopedic conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical interventions.
• Perform orthopedic surgeries, including but not limited to joint replacements, arthroscopic procedures and repairs.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and post-surgical care.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in orthopedic medicine and surgical techniques.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
Qualifications:
• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification/eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Valid NYS medical license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic surgery preferred.
• Proficiency in advanced orthopedic surgical techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commitment to patient care and outcomes.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
