Marshall Orthopaedics, in collaboration with Holzer Health System, is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Orthopaedic Sports Medicine position affiliated with our Orthopaedic Surgery Department. Practice locations include Jackson, Ohio and Gallipolis, Ohio.
Qualified applicants must be Board-Eligible/Certified. Successful candidates will be employed by Holzer Health System and have a faculty appointment at Marshall University’s Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in the department’s research and educational programs.
Holzer Health System’s sports medicine division is encompassed by a comprehensive team of professionals including Orthopedists, Certified Chiropractic Sports Physicians, Certified Athletic Trainers, and Therapists. Holzer provides monetary stipends to place Licensed Athletic Trainers at a multitude of local high schools and the University of Rio Grande. This position will offer the opportunity for extensive sports medicine physician coverage at both the high school and university level.
